Digital Dental Xrays in Canton Ohio
Our office was one of the first in the area to use digital xrays, because Dr. Danner felt it was very important to minimize the radiation exposure to his patients and staff, along with protecting the environment from the harmful chemicals used in processing typical film xrays.
Computerized digital xrays allow the detection of problems to teeth and supporting bone that cannot be found otherwise. Digital xrays help us find:
- Decay in flossing areas between teeth;
- Decay under the gumline;
- Changes in the bone that supports the teeth;
- Problems or changes within or around a tooth root;
- Evaluate the growth and development of the mouth and wisdom teeth.
Xrays allow us to find issues before any symptoms may appear, meaning we can treat and prevent potential discomfort or an emergency situation. Detecting and treating dental problems at an early stage may save you time, money, unnecessary discomfort and help maintain your healthy smile.
