For Your Comfort
We want to provide our patients with a very comfortable dental experience, helping them overcome any feelings of anxiety or fear they may be feeling. Aside from fully explaining any treatment before it is rendered (and being open to address any concerns or questions the patient may have), we offer the following for our patients' comfort:
Comfortable Injections
Dr. Danner uses a computerized system (called The Wand) for delivering anesthesia prior to dental procedures. This computerization controls the rate at which anesthesia enters the patient's gum tissue, thus making the experience comfortable and virtually pain-free.
Drill-less Dentistry
Instead of the traditional drill, Dr. Danner uses a technology called Air Abrasionfor most restorative dental procedures. This system uses a pressurized stream of tiny, non-toxic abrasive powder to remove decay. Compared to the traditional drill, air abrasion offers less noise, vibration, heat and sensitivity, thus resulting in a more comfortable procedure. For many patients, the procedure requires little or no anesthesia

Movies
Watch your favorite movie during your dental treatment! You may choose from our extensive library of movies, or bring a favorite DVD of your own. Some of our patients have even asked to stay and finish the movie when their treatment has been completed before the movie was over!
Pillows and Blankets
Choose a neck pillow or back pillow for added comfort while you are in the dental chair, and a blanket if you have a tendency to feel cold during dental treatment.
Hot towels
Hot towels are always available after your appointment to hel you freshen up before returning to your day's activities.
Cappuccino and Other Beverages
Enjoy a hot cup of cappuccino or other refreshments while you are visiting our office. We also serve cold beverages, including fruit juices and bottled water.
Convenience & Technology
Instead of asking patients to come back for a second or third visit to have a permanent crown (cap) placed, we usually can place the final crown that same day, in one visit. This is done using our computerized CAD-CAM design system, which takes impressions designs and mills the final restoration right here in our office, saving you a lot of time.
Our clinicians use digital x-rays instead of traditional light x-rays to take pictures of your teeth. Digital x-rays appear instantly on the computer screen and require no dark-room development, saving you time and money.
The intra-oral camera allows us to go one step beyond the x-ray and take a detailed color photo of one or more teeth that have decay or questionable areas that need further evaluation. The intra-oral camera system is completely digital, which means that the photos appear instantaneously on the computer screen and allow Dr. Danner to show the patient exactly which areas of the tooth are in question (only if the patient wants to see it - some patients prefer not to know the details about dental problems they are having, and we will completely respect that!).
