From coast to coast, members of our team have participated in numerous educational activities this past year. Much of that training has been at the renowned Las Vegas Institute, a private educational facility that provides state-of-the-art training to dental professionals.

"Continuing education is greatly valued and encouraged among all of our staff members and is an important part of our growth and development as a team," said Dr. Danner. "Continuing education is also the foundation to providing optimum care for our patients."

Laser dentistry is one area in which entire clinical  team has had extensive training. Laser dentistry is a wonderful tool because it offers treatment that is more comfortable, more precise and with faster healing afterward. We are now using lasers in hygiene to treat periodontal pockets and gum disease. We are also working to incorporate lasers in other aspects of dental treatment for our patients.

Treatment for headaches and jaw and facial pain, otherwise known as neuromuscular dentistry, is another area where Dr. Danner and members of the Danner Dental team have focused their training in recent months. "This advanced type of treatment helps our patients alleviate headaches, facial pain and other related symptoms by analyzing numerous factors related to jaw positioning and states of facial muscular relaxation," said Dr. Danner.

Dental implants have been another focus for Dr. Danner. Earning certification in this area meant extensive education and hands-on training. "I am pleased to be able to offer the option of dental implants in our office, allowing patients the comfort and convenience of having the treatment done right here."

Another area of additional training for Dr. Danner and the Danner Dental team is single-visit crowns. Staff members have learned how to enhance the aesthetics of the crowns that are designed in our office, as well as streamline the process of creating them. "Our patients love the convenience of having the entire procedure completed in one visit," Dr. Danner said.
